Izard County Senior Night will be held Thursday, Feb. 2, during the basketball games against Mammoth Spring. Games start at 5 p.m. with junior boys, senior girls, and senior boys games.
Senior athletes in all sports will be honored between the senior girls and senior boys games. Senior basketball players to be honored include Tanner Brooks, Kristen Caraway, Kennedy Cooper, Natalie Everett, Dallas Farmer, Zech Felton, Taylor Reynolds, and Tyler Simino. These seniors have contributed much to the basketball history of Izard County. The senior boys have been part of won three straight conference titles, two district championships, two county tournament championships, and two regional runner-ups, and two state tournament appearances. The senior boys have won 95 games during the past three seasons to this point. The senior girls have won two conference championships, two regional championships, one district championship, three county tournament championships, an NEA Invitational championship, and two state tournament appearances in the past three seasons to this point. The Lady Cougars have also won 95 games the past three seasons.
