The Izard County Cougars Bowling Team improved to 2-0 on the year with a 13-0 victory over the Southside Southerners at Horseshoe Lanes on December 14. The Cougars won the first match, 547-347, the second match, 523-332, and both Baker games, 178-126, and 188-97. Matthew Workman bowled the high game for the Cougars with a 209 and Drake Gallion and Cody Workman added a 191 each. Caleb Rushing contributed a 190, Zach Williams 165, and Casey Hall 148 for the Cougars.

The Lady Cougars lost the first match, 325-321, and the second match, 337-293. The Lady Cougars lost the first Baker game, 105-101, but rebounded to win the second Baker game, 112-95.
