Kalea Taylor and Andy Norton recently received certificates and pins for achieving the Carolina Chickadee Level in the Wings Over Arkansas program. Coordinated through the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, the bird-watching program rewards participants for viewing and correctly identifying local bird species. Mr. Treat's 7th Grade Science students are using this opportunity to interact with nature in order to better understand the local environment and become more familiar with the organisms, wildlife, and habitat in their own backyards. Congratulations to Kalea and Andy, and good luck to the rest of the Mr. Treat's 7th Grade class.
