Speech: Missy McBride - All About Me

My name is Missy McBride, and I am the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Izard County Consolidated School District (ICC). I graduated from Arkansas State University with my Master's degree in December 2002. I have been the SLP here for 5 years. I began my career at the Northcentral Arkansas Education Service Center and Highland School District in January of 2003. I was a SLP at Highland for 5 years. I loved working there but was excited to get a job at ICC where I would be at "home". I graduated from ICC in 1998 and have always been proud to be a Cougar! I have been married to my husband, Billy, for 11 years. He is our principal at the Middle School. We have two children. Landon is 8 and is in Mrs. Courtney's 3rd grade class! Our daughter, Megan, is 5 years old and has Mrs. Vicky for Kindergarten this year! We love the busy lives we have with our children! I love watching my son play sports and show his goats and cows with our livestock team. He loves baseball and keeps us hopping with his league team and all star team in the summer and fall! He is currently playing on an all star basketball team. His team, the Oxford Cats, recently won their first tournament in West Plains! His dad is the coach! Megan plays t-ball and began gymnastics this year so let the fun begin with her as well! We are also active members of Oxford Baptist Church. I am currently enjoying co-teaching bible drill on Wednesday nights!
